1980s US Military Trainer - Beige Suede
Better than Chucks! This US Military Trainer, reinvented by Reproduction of Found, was the official training shoe adopted by US Army in the 1980s. Rep of Found sought out the European factory for these once white-label sneakers, with the goal of modernizing the manufacturing process. The EVA insole has been thickened to improve cushioning, making the shoe lighter than it looks. Rep of Found subbed in high-quality Italian suede leather in place of the old-school canvas upper and a soft twill for the lining. The rubber used for the sole is mostly natural and is flexible and durable. All these pieces come together for an elevated trainer.

Introducing Battenwear
We're super pumped to introduce our first American brand to Tempest Works. Welcome to the shop, Battenwear! Battenwear's aesthetic takes cues from 1960s to 1980s surfer and outdoor wear styles. The brand's designer, Shinya Hasegawa, is inspired by that era's constant waves of change and forward movement.
