Michael - Lisse Marron Brown
Description
The Michael is one of Paraboot's most iconic, renowned designs. It was created by the second generation of the Richard-Pontvert family, who founded Paraboot in 1908, and marked the birth of Michael Richard in 1945. It's still hand-sewn in France nearly 80 years later.
The Michael is a derby, featuring a piped seam and two eyelets for the laces. They're leather-lined for extra comfort and breathability. The genuine rubber sole is attached with Paraboot's classic Norwegian welt, a hand-sewn technique in which the shoe's upper is fixed to the sole with an assembly insole using a welt and two visible lines of stitches. This welt construction is strong and flexible, making the shoes more comfortable, waterproof, and durable. The Norwegian welt also makes it possible to resole your Michaels, so you can wear them for many years, and even pass them down through the family.
