Ordering & Shipping

I have a question about an item. What should I do?

Please contact us and we'll help you out right away! We're happy to give guidance on sizing, fit, styling, or any other questions that might stand between you and your new garment.

What size should I buy?

Many of our products have size guides, but if you can't find one or you have more questions, feel free to contact us.

What's your shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know we've received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

What countries do you ship to?

We're happy to ship worldwide using PostNL, DPD, DHL, and UPS.

Tempest Works is not responsible for paying taxes and duties on orders shipped outside the European Union.

How much does shipping cost?

We use flat rates by zone to make shipping simple. See pricing and other details in our full Shipping Policy.

When will I get my order?

We'll ship your order within one business day. You'll get a confirmation email from us with tracking information when your order ships. The amount of time the package takes to get to you will depend on the courier and your location.

I'm in Amsterdam. Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?

Yes! Just select "Pick Up" when checking out. We'll have your order ready within one business day and we'll email you when it's ready. When collecting your order, please be sure to bring your confirmation email.

Returns & Exchanges

What's your return policy?

Please see our full Refund Policy for complete details. Here are the basics:

You have 30 days from receiving an item to return it. It must be in its original condition with tags and original packaging.

You can make returns in person at our store on Kerkstraat in Amsterdam or by mail. You will be responsible for return shipping costs, as well as for return fees if you paid with a method that charges them (e.g. Paypal).

Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns of gift cards. Certain other items (outlined in our full refund policy) also cannot be returned.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Returns

Sorry to hear you're thinking of returning your order. You can start a return by emailing info@tempest.works.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If we accept your return, we'll email you information on how to return your package and how you'll be refunded. We'll update you when your items reach us.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exchanges

The fastest way to make an exchange is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

When will I get a refund after making a return?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

What should I do if I received a defective or incorrect item?

We're so sorry for the mishap! If you received a defective or incorrect item, please get in touch with us right away so we can evaluate the situation and make it right.

The Shop

Where can I find you? When are you open?

We're located at Kerkstraat 131 in central Amsterdam, Netherlands. Our shop is on the lower level of the building.

We're open Wednesday through Saturday, 12:00 to 18:00; Sunday, 13:00 to 17:0.

The shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but our online shop is always open!

Our regular hours don't work for your schedule? No problem, we love to take private appointments and will do our best to make accommodations, just send us a message.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of credit cards and other payment methods depending on where you're located. You can see which methods are available to you when you reach the checkout page.

We do not accept cash.
