Designed out of Tokyo by Kazuyuki Yamakawa and produced in Japan, *A Vontade takes inspiration from classics in American and European military, workwear, dress, and sportswear. Their name expresses their aesthetic perfectly, translating from Portuguese as "make yourself comfortable."
*A Vontade's designs fuse utilitarian functionality (like fatigue jackets) with occasionally whimsical details (slightly iridescent fabric) and feature meticulous tailoring with acute attention to detail.
